Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with You Plus One. We value your business and strive to provide you with the best possible shopping experience. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it outlines our refund and return policy for event tickets (denoted on our website as “events”) and merchandise (denoted on our website as “merch”).

Most purchases made on our website are final, subject to the exceptions set out below and to your rights under applicable law. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please review and understand this policy before completing a purchase.

Events

  1. Event ticket sales are generally final. Once a ticket purchase is completed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, nor exchanged after the event has began, except as required by law or as set out below.
  2. If we cancel an event, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. If we reschedule an event, you may choose either a transfer of your ticket to the new date or a full refund. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact information provided at the time of purchase, and refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable period.
  3. We reserve the right to deny entry to or remove any ticket holder for reasons including, but not limited to, conduct that is unsafe, unlawful, or in breach of venue rules or our terms of entry. Where entry is denied or a ticket holder is removed for such reasons, no refund will be provided. Where we deny entry for reasons unrelated to the ticket holder’s conduct, a refund or comparable remedy will be offered.

Merch

  1. Merchandise sales are final, except where an item is damaged or defective on delivery, or where you are otherwise entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer protection or sale-of-goods law.
  2. If you receive a damaged or defective merchandise item, please contact our customer support team at orders@youplusone.ca within 30 days of receiving the item. We may request photographic evidence of the damage or defect.
  3. We may request the return of the damaged or defective item before issuing a refund or exchange. If a return is required, we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Nothing in this section limits the implied conditions and warranties — including that goods are of merchantable quality and reasonably fit for their purpose — that apply under the BC Sale of Goods Act and cannot be contracted out of.

Limitations

  1. Except as required by law, we are not responsible for problems arising from the misuse of event tickets or merchandise.
  2. We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of event tickets or merchandise after delivery, except to the extent such loss results from our negligence or is otherwise our responsibility under applicable law.
  3. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal property at our events, except to the extent caused by our negligence. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

General

By proceeding with a purchase on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund and Return Policy. We may update this policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

This Refund and Return Policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
