Pete Philips combines sci-fi inspired soundscapes with retro-futurism, creating a distinctive blend within the electronic music spectrum. His work integrates indie dance with melodic house and techno, underpinned with vocal hooks and nostalgic guitar parts.

His latest project “Echoes“, featuring remixes by labelmates Pig&Dan and Siavash, is out now on You Plus One!

Philips emerged from Montreal’s dynamic electronic scene, initially performing as Poe (CA) and collaborating closely with the Husa Sounds collective. His work attracted attention on the German label Fryhide, including a remix by HOSH. Philips has showcased his music at key venues and events such as Centre PHI, Piknic Électronique, and StereoBar, sharing stages with notable acts like HVOB, Be Svendsen, and Jan Blomqvist.
